HAUTE STREET: Tell us a little bit about the Chainsmokers.
THE CHAINSMOKERS: Well The Chainsmokers are made of Alex and Drew. We are both men, we like women, we aren't vegetarians and we love guy Ritchie films.
HS: How did you both get into Music and Djing?
TCS: Drew was forced into music at an early age by his tyrant uncle, and Alex got into music via SnoopDog's album Doggystyle. We met at fat camp in the music activity class. Those were dark times, but naturally we really bonded cause we weighed the same weight...
HS: How do you two balance each other out in your business?
TCS: Indeed, there are two of us. The balance just comes naturally. We compliment each others strengths and share the same passion for success and adventure...
HS: Favorite destination that you've ever played at?
TCS: Favorite place we have ever played at was Miami - cause its hot & so are the girls.
HS: Craziest thing you've ever seen while playing a venue?
TCS: Someone spent one million dollars on vodka and champagne
HS: If The Chainsmokers could collaborate with any artist who would it be & why?
TCS: At the moment we are going with Mat Zo in respect to production and Sia on the Vocals...
HS: What kind of music inspires you?
TCS: Any kind, but at the moment Mat Zo's "Only for you" is the track
HS: Do you get nervous before you go on stage?
TCS: Not nervous, but anxious...
HS: Your idea of happiness?
TCS: Lots of incredible small moments that end in our deaths
HS: Current state of mind?
TCS: Drew: Pumped on a new project
Alex: Recently Single
HS: The best advice someone has given you that has kept you going and growing?
TCS: Find your balance, and then get to work
HS: What do you love the most about your job?
TCS: That we are self employed which allows for the freedom of creativity.
