Brittney Cade Dirnt:
2013 went by in a blink of an eye. Traveling around the world with my children were extreme highs & lows. It was touching to watch them grow & learn from those experiences. I'm shooting for more patience with my kids, much more rest, & never forgetting to live life to its fullest...
2014 has so much in store & I can't wait for it all to come to fruition, especially this design venture with Joey T. This NYE I will be with talented, creative MUSES that share the same kind of passion for life as I.
My strongest resolution is to wake up every morning EXCITED, seeing the world through new lenses. Keeping my roots GROUNDED while still being able to travel and EXPLORE new places, keeping a HEALTHY lifestyle and bringing in LOVE in all forms. My family has always been my ROCK and I wish only to become closer to them in this up coming year. So let’s WORK hard, PLAY hard and do it all with a SMILE!!! Allo let’s go 2014. BOOM!
2013... I have no regrets. I believe that everything is a measure of knowledge and is always with reason. There are no mistakes if you learned from the experience. So for 2014 think positive and feel it, manifest your thoughts and appreciate the present. Know that the past was then, the future is not promised and the present is real! Love harder than you did last year and know that personal growth is a wonderful thing.
My wish is that this New Year will bring with it all you have ever hoped for and reveal every wonderful wistful dream you have ever dreamed.... Stranger things have happened. Make 2014 your year of belief. Love and Light, Qxx
The new year represents a new beginning. I am so excited to see what is in store for 2014! It is a way to reassess and recalibrate and that is always exciting to me.
My wish for 2014 is to encourage women to recognize the potential in working with each other as opposed to against each other. The whole concept of 'better than' or 'prettier than' is so invalid once we stop competing with each other and join forces. Once we start encouraging one another instead of putting each other down and recognizing everyone for their own individual beauty and strength the potential in our abilities become endless!
2014. I want to embrace all opportunity to love more, learn more, share more... I want to continue growing into the best woman I can be. I want to shine my brightest ever and inspire those around me to shine their brightest too!
I am always happy for a fresh and brand new start to the new year. Things I look forward to are- more exciting projects coming to fruition that I can share with our readers, visiting exciting places I have never been and immersing myself in different cultures, and a better economic climate in the United States. (Fingers crossed!) For me a brand new year means hitting the reset button and finding my way back to my genuine true self, seeing how far I may or may not have digressed and evaluating what I need to do to achieve my goals. My resolutions are: create more, eat a more paleo diet- (health and well being starts from the inside), silence my inner critic more often, take on one pro bono case that I am passionate about (and win), and finally practice more acceptance, gratitude and serenity.
2013 was a tough year for me with many changes in my life, however it was also the year that I truly realized life is too short to settle. There were many ups and downs, but I am grateful for all those moments as they continue to shape me. I met great new people, made some lovely new friendships, and also fit in a bit of traveling into my plans.
For 2014, I am going to try to take the time to enjoy the year a little bit more and do things that personally fulfill me. Good things come to those who hustle, and I want to continue to take that saying with me into this new year. I have a very good feeling about things to come in 2014 and am excited to see some projects come to fruition.
One of my favorite New Year quotes is: "Maybe this year we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives not looking for flaws, but for potential." - Ellen Goodman, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist
Lana Jolie Carlson:
I'm very excited about the New Year!
This year I want to focus on projects that my husband and I have been working on together. I've been writing music with him in addition to working on some art projects. I would like to meet more local artists as most of my clients are mostly based in Europe and Asia. I look forward to the seeing the progress of contemporary art in 2014 and I am excited about the future of art in general.
Resolution: go to bed earlier and wake up at 7 am :)) meditate and do more yoga
